BLACK FRIDAY

Jayla, Christen, and I left at 3am to head to walmart to stand guard at our wish list of stuff. At like 2am-4am in poured down rain here I felt so bad for all the people who had to be waiting out in front of stores :( We scoped out Walmart first to find where everything was and then Jayla and I stayed at the DVDs and Christen stayed back at the toys. For what seemed like hours... oh wait it was... it finally hit 5am and the plastic and cardboard flew and the stampede started. We managed to get all the dvds we wanted, Christen tripped two women in her efforts and Jayla made mad dashes around the store to grab everything else we wanted since I was stuck back where we started with the cart full of DVDS.

We then checked out and made it out at 5:18am. We then split up so Christen and I could head to Target (which opened at 6am) and Jayla could head to Staples (which also opened at 6am). Target's line was wrapped all the way around the building. We waited in line there about 20 minutes and Channel 6 News crews were on the outside and inside filming so lookout we are probably on tv. LOL

I raced inside to the DVDs and Christen again headed to toys. I was all worried cause I wanted Psych the most and I was telling Christen "see all those people in front of us they are so going to get it too!" ROFL Christen's like w/e....THEY WERE! ROFL I was hunting and hunting going oh my gosh they are gone *cries* then I heard this little girl on the verge of tears telling her mom "psych's all gone mom they're gone :'(" I was like NOOOOO... Then I happened to look down and there were just 2 left on the counter. The mom was sorta standing next to me and I handed her the last one on the shelf and was like "is this what you were looking for?" She lit up and was so grateful practically yelling across the store to her daughter that I had saved her the last one. Needless to say 20 minutes later we were all outta the stores and headed to Sonic to eat and get the Black Friday special of either free coffee or 99 cent route 44 drinks. I also had the most amazing chicken sandwich ever cause they actually made it right. It pays to eat lunch when no one is there at 6am. ROFL

We then all went to JCPenneys but missed out on the free gifts as well as not being able to use ANY of the coupons they sent out to get you in the store cause the coupons didn't start till after the sale was over at 3pm... I mean wth?!

THEN... We headed out to Claremore to a different Walmart to see what they had. We ended up getting a few more things and then headed all the way back to Tulsa to go to Circuit City for Susi which was out of Supernatural Season 2 :(

Then we went to another Walmart to get food but we didn't get anything ROFL.
Then we headed back by 11am so Jayla could go to work and we could sort out all of our stuff.

This year was pretty disappointing sale wise, there just didn't seem to be great prices out there.
We all managed to get everything we wanted which was a first so we all were happy. It wasn't as exciting this year cause for some reason everybody was calm? WTH? Black Friday and people were nice and not trying to kill you? People actually said excuse me nicely when they shoved you into a cabinet and ran over your toes with their buggy so they could get to the 3 dollar slow cookers. LOL We all had fun and ended up with great Christmas presents and everything we wanted for ourselves *giggle*

JCPENNEYS: 92 piece flatware set, 30 piece glassware set (WOAH HEAVY :( [wth having no shopping carts ever at that store]), and some other gifts for my grandmother to give to people

CIRCUIT CITY: nothing :(
