Michael Phelps & Cornflakes

I'm getting sooo tired of all the radio shows and news shows dissing Michael Phelps because he chose to be on the Cornflakes/Frosted Flakes box instead of Wheaties. Earlier, I was watching Fox news and the news anchor, Laura Ingram, had on some food advocate and the food advocate pretty much said that Michael Phelps was going to be the cause of future obesity in children and that he should be a better role model of health for kids. I'm like what the heck crazy lady?! The news anchor was totally defensive and took Michael's side, saying that Michael Phelps just won 8 gold medals and could eat/endorse whatever he wanted and that it would be up to the parents to decide what their kids eat, not Michael Phelps. I was like rock on! She totally made that crazy food adovocate mad. My favorite comment from Laura was that he should have endorsed Lucky Charms cause it was FULL of sugar. ROFL!!!! But ya I'm confused as to why Mcdonalds isn't under the same scrutiny as Michael since they had tons of athletes from all over the world endorsing their products and it's not like their menu is full of healthy choices. It's like no matter what choice you make, some "party" in America is going to be upset. So I'm ready to go out and buy some FROSTED FLAKES! GO MICHAEL! LOL!

ROFL @ THIS! I can totally see Vinh's teachers getting all riled up about this, too! Then I'd play the devil's advocate & be like "& you didn't have this when you were a kid?" ;)
