ENGLAND'S ROSE

This month is the 10th Anniversary of Princess Diana's death. It was one of those moments you remember where you were and what you were doing and how you felt when you first heard. I was 10 when I heard about it and was crushed. She was and still is one of my biggest heroes. I thought she was one of the most beautiful people I had ever seen. I remember collecting all the newspapers and magazines and reading all the books about her. So many have forgotten just how much good she brought into the world. I just hope that Prince William and Harry continue her legacy.

SUMMER FADES TO FALL

I've been really lacking in blog updates. Partly cause of school starting. I just started the second week of school. The first week consisted of 1 Test, 1 5page Essay, 2 Discussion Board posts, and signing up for some other assignments. I am taking, Abnormal Psychology, Social Psychology, Human Sexuality, and Intro Socialogy(starts in Oct). People love to make comments about my Human Sexuality class, LOL but it's course I have to take. ROFL Annie and I are official sex ed teachers. ROFL we are complete dorks. Other than that, it's just been busy trying to fit in the last bit of summer fun in with school. Hopefully everyone's semester goes great!

Today I went to my nieces birthday party and then afterwards my mom and I decided to stop at mcdonalds for yes the iced coffees. I wait forever for them to make them they hand them to me and of course I start to drive off forgetting the straws. Next thing I know the guy is hanging out the mcdonalds window yelling "your straws, you forgot your straws" ROFL I had already drove to far to backup and there was a line of cars behind me. Luckily I had extras in my car. I didn't think my mom was ever going to stop laughing about the guy hanging out the window and me driving off without straws.

This is my last day of summer. :( Next will be a never ending sea of homework and school and blah. LOL

Venting time:

I have been getting so aggravated lately at the poeple I am around here talking about others behind their back especially about me and then thinking that we/I don't know. It REALLY gets me mad. That is one thing that I freakin cannot stand. Especially when they do it with others around that will just believe them. So ya I'm ready to move on.

Today I went to this music store that's been around forever that is getting ready to close hoping to find some on sale guitar stuffers but they had like 5 electric guitars and that was it. I was totally disappointed. :( I did go to this other music store and found this totally cute Buddy Guy Fender that was maroon with big white polka dots on it. It was on sale for 469 but I didn't get it. But it was sooooo cute.... Though I can't decide which color I like better. I don't think the store I went to had the black & white one.





I think I'll hold out for a different one though. I seriously want a gibson but they are harder to find then fenders. Okay I'll stop my shop talk. ;)

TOGETHER WE'LL MEND YOUR HEART

Today I woke up early to go buy my books for the semester. Over *gasp* an unbelievable amount of money later I have my books for next week. [hurridly gets off of school subject as to not taint my last free summer weekend]

Next I cooked lunch for me and my grandma watched some Elvis specials on Tv Land and then went to the post office, blockbuster, and lastly mcdonalds to get their new vanilla iced coffee that I am now hooked on... [okay so it doesn't even rate next to starbucks but it's a heck of a lot closer to get to] I then spend the rest of the day making these curtains for this contraption you can hang from the ceiling to like be able to divide a room with a curtain...... that 20 dollar piece of crap kept falling apart and grrr I haven't been that aggravated in a long long time. I mean I was at this thing for hours. ERG even thinking of it puts a snarl on my face. Needless to say my freakin curtains never got hung. Next I totally took it down and forgot it completely. ROFL I then went to go get pizza and to watch Susi's kids so that they would go out for their anniversary.

I think my day was worse because thoughts of summer ending and this being my last weekend and such really got to me.


P.S. Thanks to "The Hills" I discovered Marie Digby's version of "Umbrella" which rocks!!!!! SO much for Rihanna!

WELL WE ALL JUST WANNA BE BIG ROCKSTARS

Aug 14 2007-

So Dave, Suse and me totally went to go see Alice Cooper in concert last night. Mainly to get to see our cuz play with him (lead guitarist) and oh my gosh he's like amazingly unbelieveably awesome. The concert was really fun and after we got to go backstage to hang with him for a couple minutes before they headed out. Hopefully they come back around here on tour again so we can catch them play. :)
So you should totally go visit his website cause it's totally awesome! Make sure to launch the KK music player and play "uptown girl" cause his version is rockin awesome! (found on the Agent Cody Banks soundtrack) He also is part of the band SOTU which are rockin awesome too! :)






Sorry I totally didn't upload any of our vids so the one on youtube someone else recorded will have to do! This is his acoustic solo he does during the Alice Cooper concerts.

SLEEPLESS NIGHTS

So the past several weeks haven't been that good, they could have been worse it's just been a really blah last part of the summer. I finally got my new DVR. I spent 4 hours trying to hook it up through my dvd player unsuccessfully. Then today I was hooking up the other digital receiver and of course it wouldn't work... so I spend 2 hours on the phone to a customer service guy who finally got it all working until I asked to add more channels and then it messed up all over again. Then at like 7pm the phone disconnects. I'm like great he probably got off at 7 and totally just hung up on me. haha but hopefully all my channels and tvs work now. I have been so frustrated.... then ewwww school starting and trying to get that all settled I feel so rushed just to try to get everything done. I am seriously getting behind. LOL But I lovey beautiful romantics! We are totally going to have fun with the site. ADVERTISE BABY! LOL! HOT!
Okay well that has pretty much been my week!
