Last year the city installed a fire hydrant across the street from our house. Over the past year they have dug it up and reinstalled it, get this, 4 times, because the 3 previous times they still couldn't get it to work... seriously? come on...
Every time, they have shut our water off, without telling us, then later came to the door to tell us that they ran into our personal water line and that now we have to run our faucets to get rid of all the air pockets and sediment that has built up... this causes every faucet and toilet to back up with sediment causing us to have to unscrew all the filters and clean them out... (full day project)... this time the sediment backed up the fill valve in the toilet... which caused the toilet not to fill... so in the mindset of refusing to have to pay for roto rooter to come out for the stupid city's mistake... I have been fixing the dumb thing. After researching how to take out and clean the valves I finally got it working again... even after my mom accidentally flushed one of the toilet parts down the toilet.... ;/ rofl
Now on to the kitchen faucet which is one of those new hose attached sprayer things... if only we could ever save manuals to these things it would be a lot simpler...
